Bio

Colby is a founding partner of Allred Vogt & Stuart and has extensive personal injury litigation experience. Colby is an experienced trial attorney and has taken numerous cases to trial and obtained multiple favorable jury verdicts on behalf of his clients. His practice is focused exclusively on personal injury litigation with an emphasis on auto accidents, semi truck accidents, bicycle accidents, and construction accidents involving severe injury and wrongful death.

Prior to founding Allred Vogt & Stuart, Colby managed the litigation for a large, multi-state personal injury law firm where he successfully resolved hundreds of personal injury cases for his clients, including auto accidents, semi truck accidents, bicycle accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and fall accidents, dog bites and attacks, construction accidents, and various other incidents involving negligent conduct and personal injury. Before focusing his practice exclusively on personal injury litigation, Colby gained invaluable legal experience and training while working as an attorney for two of Utah’s most prestigious large law firms, Snell & Wilmer and Jones Waldo, as well as serving in a senior attorney role for a Fortune 500 insurance company. In addition, Colby has been published in The Enterprise—Utah’s Business Journal, taught continuing legal education courses for The National Business Institute, and been named in Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah’s Legal Elite on multiple occasions.

Colby earned his law degree from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law where he graduated with Honors and served as an Articles Editor of the Utah Environmental Law Review. While not in the office, Colby enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He loves being outdoors and spends his free time exploring the mountains with his family, hiking, backcountry skiing, mountain biking, road cycling and wake surfing.
